Every chapter of MAT Dispatch was written by carriers telling us what the industry got wrong.
The beginning
Our founder spent years watching good owner-operators lose money to bad paperwork and worse rates. The first version of MAT Dispatch was a spreadsheet, a phone and a single carrier who wanted someone in his corner at 5am.
Growth
Word travelled. As the carrier base grew we hired dispatchers who had actually run freight, and specialised the desk by equipment so a reefer carrier never talks to someone who only knows dry van.
Mission
We publish our fee, we do not force loads, and we do not lock carriers into contracts. Every load is an offer the driver can decline without consequence — that constraint made us better negotiators.
